 Moradabad Division
of Northern Railway has its divisional Headquarter at
Moradabad. It is an old city, established by the Mughal
prince ‘MURAD’ and is famous for its Brass Industry.
Brass Wares, Stainless steel utensils, Electro-Plated Nickel Silver
and lacquer-plated brasswares are well known specialties of
this city.
उत्तरी रेलवे के मुरादाबाद मंडल इसकी मुरादाबाद में मंडल मुख्यालय है. यह एक पुराना शहर है जो मुगल राजकुमार 'मुराद' द्वारा स्थापित और पीतल उद्योग के लिए प्रसिद्ध है.
पीतल, स्टेनलेस स्टील के बर्तन, इलेक्ट्रो मढ़वाया निकेल रजत और लाह चढ़ाया हुआ पीतल के बर्तनों अच्छी तरह से इस शहर की विशेषता जाना जाता है.
The Division serves a population of
about 03 crores spread over 26 Civil Districts in the Western part
of Uttar Pradesh and in the newly created Uttarakhand. It has a
total Route kilometer of 1403 Kms. and track kilometer of
2424 Kms over which 103 pairs of Mail/Express and 53 pairs of
Passenger trains run daily. There are 208 Stations on the Division. Approx. 2.03 Lakh passengers are
booked daily.
डिवीजन के बारे में तीन करोड़ की आबादी जो उत्तर प्रदेश के पश्चिमी भाग में और नव निर्मित उत्तरांचल में 26 सिविल जिलों में फैल गया है. यह 1403 किलोमीटर की कुल का है.
और 2424 किलोमीटर का ट्रैक किलोमीटर जिस पर मेल / एक्सप्रेस के 103 जोड़े और पैसेंजर गाड़ियों के 52 जोड़े दैनिक चलाते हैं.
The Division caters to the transport requirements of a number of
industries including fertilizers, sponsored food grains, sugar, Iron
& steel units & BHEL.
मुरादाबाद डिवीजन उर्वरक, प्रायोजित अनाज, चीनी, लोहे और इस्पात इकाइयों और भेल समेत कई उद्योगों की परिवहन आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करता है.
The world famous pilgrim centers of the country like Badrinath,
Kedarnath, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Naimisharanya are situated in
the area served by this Division. Large numbers of pilgrims from
every corner of the country visit these holy places throughout the
year. Division has a tough riverine belt with 1974 bridges, 917
level crossings and tropical climate.
बद्रीनाथ, केदारनाथ, हरिद्वार, ऋषिकेश, और जैसे विश्व प्रसिद्धि तीर्थ केंद्रों इस प्रभाग द्वारा सेवा क्षेत्र में कई स्थित हैं. देश के हर कोने से यात्रियों की बड़ी संख्या को वर्ष भर में इन पवित्र स्थानों की यात्रा करने आते हैं.
प्रभाग 1974 पुलों, 917 लेवल क्रॉसिंगों और उष्णकटिबंधीय जलवायु के साथ एक कठिन नदी बेल्ट है.

On platform water from the hydrants is used by the unauthorized persons. They leave the cock/valves in open condition and allowing water to waste. For avoiding these problems detachable handle has been replaced provided on platform no. 1 at Moradabad. |

The proposal for all the platforms of MB, HW, BE, BDN station is in process.

Total expenses to end of January 2011 (actuals) under OWE (Demand No. 3 to 12)
is 88% Similarly, expenses under capital demand no. 16 is 92%. As per present
trend of expenditure and keeping in view future adjustments, there will be no
excess which is being monitored closely. If excess expenditure under any head
becomes inavitable, necessary saving will be made in other head of expenditure
for adjustment keeing in view FC's DO letter dated 04.02.2011 addressed to GM.
All the instructions issued by GM & FA&CAO to control the expenditure and to
remain within the allotted budged are being followed.

Division was first to commence settlement of all employees through ECS payment
on their retirement since April 2010. |

Mail/Express and Goods Trains run on electric traction in current year after
completion of electrification work in Moradabad yard.

Opening of Computer Centre : A computer Training Centre under the SBF grant has
been opened for Comptuer Training to the ward of Railway Employees as well as
for serving employees. 20 students for one year course, 10 students for 06 months
course and 10 serving employees are getting training. |

Vacation of Unauthorized occupation of School Building : The Personnel Deptt. able
to get the possession of Railway Building of Crores of rupees at prime location at
Moradabad which was under unauthorized occupation of St. Jude's Academy long back
due to the personal efforts made by Personnel Deptt. St. Jude's Academy could not
get successes in gating any stay in the various write petitions filed by Academy.
Now this building is being used for running the Railway Mixed Primary School, Creche
& other welfare activities.

addition to earlier MB, BE, HPU, HW and DDN stations. |

Rly. Employees Consumer Co-operative society since long which was got vacated on
